Problem:
If you are stuck on "Starting VNC handshake" when opening VNC, the most common issues are the following.
- The VNC password was recently changed by you.
- The VNC configuration is broken in some other way but it is running at a minimal level.
Solution:
Ensure all settings are back to default. Then, reboot your VPS. If this doesn't work, please contact us in a technical support ticket and ensure you provide your VNC IP address, VNC Port, and VNC password in the secure fields, as well as check the box to allow us to reboot your VPS. You can find the VNC information on the VNC page, right under the "Starting VNC handshake" message.
